I lost my younger brother under mysterious circumstances during my journey seeking asylum. The silence that followed his disappearance was more crushing than the loss itself; no one knows where he is or how his story ended. When I joined the network’s efforts, I realized that silence was not an option. I spoke about my story on every platform I could reach, and I found great encouragement to continue through the support of other families. Today, I try to help others who are suffering from the same situation, in the hope that together we can break this silence and light a candle for truth.
